Cheque presentation to The Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA)

The Ladybrook Singers  have presented a cheque to The Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA), their chosen charity for 2012/2013.

It was presented  last week during the choir’s Christmas party at Norbury Church

The total amount raised was £853

The monies were raised by various means including:

Ladybrook Singers  Autumn Concert held recently at Cheadle Hulme Methodist Church where they were joined by Poynton Male Voice Choir.

A concert at Hope Green residential home  in Poynton in which a donation from the home was added to the charity funds.

Another fund raising effort was that several of The Ladybrook Singers signed a special Christmas card and added their own message. Each choir member who signed the card gave a donation to the charity.
